Here you'll find updates to my hobbies and interests, alongside work that I'm doing on the web and also in the real world. Currently I'm finishing up my last few hundred hours of cosmetology school; alongside fighting and advocating for my special needs son at his school. I've also dipped back into photography, and I've looked at potentially teaching dance lessons at a studio near me to delve back into that chapter of my life.I've been working hard on solving and dealing with my own health. I was diagnosed with a disease called Sarcoidosis in the middle of 2020, and lately I have been working on finding homeopathic helps for the parts of the illness I feel I cant deal with as well anymore. (WOW! I didn't realize it had already been six years since my diagnosis! Time FLIES)
I've also been trying to find my niche on the internet. The past few months I've been going on an archiving journey, looking for websites that haven't been touched in at least a decade, if not more.
It's incredibly interesting to see how much is the same as what it was then, and how much has changed. Also in this same vein, I've found it incredibly interesting how so much of the internet history that we all can remember seems wiped off the face of the Earth... while simultaneously I'm pulling 404's that I simply am not allowed to connect to the server where the sites are hosted;
which leads me to believe that a lot of it may still be out there, not just on the wayback machine, but actually accessible to us in this day and age; looking as it did three decades ago. We all know of the obvious ones, like the First Website in the World, or the Website of a MOSTLY defunct Cult that was around in the 80's, unforgettably one of the most memorable movies in the US but there are some really incredible hyperlinks still out there, just waiting for us to find them. A lot are linked to Universities and the novelty of putting syllabus' online for the students to find, while some are simply for fun. I will be listing and archiving them as I go, which will get linked onto this page once I've compiled any of what I've found together. (But with nearly 200 links in my bookmarks to skim through, it may take me quite a while, please be patient with me)I'm really excited to take you on this journey with me, and I'm hoping you stick around! Atlas out!
